Overview
This section provides a survey of the research conducted by the Purdue Mesoscale Modeling Laboratory over the past two and a half decades. Every topic has a summary, a list of publications, and a table of captioned thumbnail images that link to full-size illustrations in a slideshow.
This research has been conducted with partial support from the National Science Foundation (NSF), the United States Department of Energy (DOE), IBM Corporation, the United States Army, Taiwan National Science Council and Central Weather Bureau, and others.
Note: If you are using Mozilla, Safari, or another standards-compliant browser, you will be able to view PMML’s web slideshow as it was designed—with a fixed position navigation bar so that you never have to scroll in order to click “previous,” “next,” or “end slideshow.” If you are using Internet Explorer but interested in a better browsing experience, consider switching to Firefox, Mozilla’s next generation browser or another standards-compliant browser. Update: Thanks to Dean Edwards IE7 patch, Internet Explorer users with JavaScript enabled can now enjoy the fixed navigation bar.
