About Receiving

Located at the Materials Management and Distribution Center (MMDC), the University Receiving Department provides the Purdue campus with a centralized location for the receipt of goods and materials such as freight and small package shipments. We have several goals:

  • Receive and precisely process University goods and materials
  • Provide the highest quality level of package processing and handling
  • Maintain accurate tracking records for freight and small package shipments
