Do you charge for services?
Yes, Purdue Marketing charges all clients an hourly rate of $65, which is the University rate. This includes, but is not limited to, the following services:
- Brand and advertising
- Copywriting and editing
- Design (print and digital)
- Digital (websites, emails, e-newsletters)
- Photo and video
- Market research
- Print management
- Social media
Unlike outside advertising and marketing communications firms, we do not charge for strategy development, client meetings or project management by the marketing strategists.
There is no charge for working with the News Service (media relations) or Purdue Today (faculty and staff e-newsletter) to publicize news from your college, school, department or center. Contact News Service and Purdue Today for more information.
How much will it cost?
Once we know the scope of your project, we'll put together an estimate for the cost and time of the work involved. After you approve the estimate, we'll get started! If, at any time, it looks like the project is going out of scope or beyond what was anticipated, we'll regroup with you to make sure you are aware and approve any additional costs.
How long will it take?
Every project is different, so it's nearly impossible to provide general time frames. However, as a general rule, it will probably take longer than you think. We approach projects strategically, so we look at what you are trying to accomplish, and then put our creative minds together to help you achieve it. The better you are able to pinpoint your goal, the more accurate the estimate will be. We'll also talk time frames up front to make sure we can deliver your project when it's needed.
