As part of "Life 360 Magazine," we wanted to highlight Kelsey's unique background and talents beyond those apparent when looking at her record as a student and trustee at Purdue. Fortunately, with her history in the circus, the opportunity for creating visually striking photos was great.

For the photo on the hanging silks, we used rim lighting to make Kelsey pop out from a blackened background and highlight the falling chalk dust. For the photo with the fire jugglers, we used a slow shutter speed to let the fire create trails behind her and then froze her with strobe lighting. To further enhance the warm feel of the fire, two side strobes had a warm colored gel put on them so that it appeared that the fire was helping illuminate her and the jugglers.
