Roland G. Parrish Library
Purdue University’s Roland G. Parrish Library of Management and Economics received a top honor from the Special Libraries Association. Purdue Libraries won the management category of SLA’s 12th annual Centers of Excellence Awards program for how its renovation/transformation project was presented. Roland G. Parrish Library of Management and Economics is named in honor of Parrish, a former Boilermaker student-athlete who is president, CEO and owner of Parrish McDonald’s Restaurants Ltd., a chain of 25 stores in north Texas. Parrish provided a $2 million leadership gift to support the $4.2 million renovation project. The former Management and Economics Library is located in the Krannert Building.
