Spring 2010 Work-Study Position Available

Latino Leadership Retreat- Saturday, January 23

Designed for student leaders, the Latino Leadership Retreats are offered at the beginning of each semester. The retreats aim to provide valuable skills, while promoting collaboration and unity among Latino-based organizations. This one-day retreat focuses on areas such as team building, power structures, communication, and diversity. Additionally, it provides LCC staff an opportunity to build stronger relationships with current and emerging Latino leaders on campus. We welcome NEW and returning students. As always, TODOS SON BIENVENIDOS!
Event will feature documentary film “Black Purdue” with guest speaker; leadership workshops and forum with Purdue’s Vice Provost for Diversity & Inclusion, Dr. Christine Taylor.

Spanish Conversation Tables resume Wednesdays, January 27, 6pm at the LCC

LCC Spanish Conversation Tables Seeking Volunteers for Spring Semester

If you are a native Spanish speaker, love talking about where you are from, and want to work with people who really want to learn the language, please contact Marisol Uribe via email at muribe@purdue.edu  or call the LCC at 494-2530. Tables begin Wednesday, January 27th and run every Wednesday until April 21st from 6:00-7:00pm. Tables will be led by at least 2 volunteers. Weekly participation is not required.  If you know someone who might be interested, please pass this on. Spanish Conversation Tables resume Wednesdays, January 27, 6pm at the LCC.
