Giving to the LCC

Amigos de Purdue is an annual gift club at Purdue University, created to support the Latino Cultural Center through financial commitments. The LCC serves as a resource to the entire student body, faculty, staff, alumni, and community. The center also strives to celebrate and enhance understanding of the Latino culture through history, accomplishments, growth, and empowerment.

Members of Amigos de Purdue are the heart and soul of the Latino Cultural Center and its three main initiatives — Scholarships, Facilities, and Community Outreach and Programs. With an annual gift to the LCC, you automatically become a member of Amigos de Purdue. You may choose to designate your gift to any of the LCC programs or allow the LCC to apply your donation wherever the need is greatest. Your gift is counted as both a donation and participation. The LCC values gifts in any amount and considers them an indicator of your confidence in the LCC.

Community Outreach and Programs
Educational, social, professional, and cultural events are hosted and sponsored by the LCC throughout the year. These events are designed to foster open relations with people all across campus and in the community and to celebrate Latino culture. Creation and implementation of programs will continue to grow and develop with time and the availability of funding.
