Purdue University is excited to introduce Boilersphere, Purdue’s new online networking tool. Boilersphere is a secure web service which allows Varsity P Club members to connect with other alumni and Purdue University.

Boilersphere gives you exclusive access to:
  • The global Purdue community
  • The Boilersphere John Purdue Club Page
  • Valuable opportunities exchanged between members
  • Qualified employment candidates
  • Official local, region, and specialty groups
  • Local and regional Purdue events
  • A powerful network of ideas, member-blogs, photos and more!

How do I register?

Boilersphere was built exclusively for Purdue alumni and supporters, upperclassmen, faculty, and staff. All registrants are required to sign up through the Purdue portal to gain access to the network.

If you are already a registered user of the Alumni Web Community (AWC), please use that username/password to log into Boilersphere.

To set up a Boilersphere account:

  1. Go to http://www.purdue.edu/boilersphere and click on the "Registered" link, located on the bottom, right-hand side of the page under the "Having Trouble" header.

  2. Enter your first and last name, an ID number, your date of birth, and a valid email address. If you have NOT graduated yet, please leave The First Purdue Grad. Year field blank.

  3. Click the "Submit" button.

  4. TAKE NOTE: Your username will appear on the screen-- this is the only time your username will be displayed!! You will also see a message indicating that a new, temporary password has been sent to the email address that you provided.

  5. To change your user name and/or password, please click on the link, "Change" on the Boilersphere homepage located on the bottom, right-hand side of the page and follow the prompts.
