John Purdue Club Indy Picnic

As the summer winds down and the new school year approaches, the annual John Purdue Club Picnic in Indianapolis gives members a chance to talk with coaches and staff in an informal setting.

Registration materials are sent to all Club members in the Indianapolis area.

Football Kick-off Luncheon

A great way to get geared up for the next great Boilermaker gridiron season, the Football Kick-off Luncheon, sponsored by the Lafayette-West Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, offers the opportunity to hear Coach Tiller's opinions about the season just before it begins. Find out who's hot, who's not, and how the Boilers are going to fight their way to yet another bowl game!

Old Gold and Black Dinner

2008 Date TBA

Held the night before a home football game, this annual dinner is the unofficial kickoff to another year of exciting Boilermaker sports. Members at the Champion, Olympian, and All-American levels are invited to campus for dinner and a program that highlights the accomplishments of the Purdue Athletics family.

Invitations for members at the Champion, Olympian, and All-American levels are mailed in late summer.

Athletic Director Dinners

September-November

A terrific way to kick off a Purdue football weekend, these informal dinners include John Purdue Club members and Boilermaker coaches and staff, along with visiting bowl representatives. Because of space limitations, the dinners are by invitation only.

Invitations are mailed in the summer to members at the Olympian and Champion levels.

Postgame Parties

September-November

Celebrate another Boilermaker victory at the John Purdue Club’s postgame parties. Held after each home football and selected home basketball games, the parties bring together John Purdue Club members, Purdue coaches, and Athletic Department staff.

Because of space limitations, parties are by invitation only. Members at the All-American, Olympian, and Champion levels receive invitations in the late summer or early fall.

Varsity P Club Weekend

October 26 & 27, 2007


Varsity P Club Weekend, hosted by the John Purdue Club, is designed to recognize former Boilermaker student-athletes. For former student-athletes, it’s a terrific chance to catch up with old friends.

Reunion Team Weekend

October 26 & 27, 2007

The John Purdue Club hosts two special Boilermaker Football teams each fall: the 25th- and 50th-anniversary squads. Teammates return to campus to partake in golf, an evening reception, and the following day’s home football game.

Invitations are mailed to 25th- and 50th-anniversary team members in the fall.

November

Beck's Fast Break Room

November—March

John Purdue Club members who get to the game a little early can grab a snack at the Beck's Fast Break Room. An hour before the game and at halftime, join other members in the IAF Gymnasium (for both men's and women’s games).

Passes and detailed information are mailed to members with basketball tickets in the fall.

Arena Club

November—March

John Purdue Club members at the All-American, Olympian and Champion levels are invited to the Bob and Nancy King Conference Center in the basement of Mackey Arena to enjoy complimentary beverages and light snacks for an hour prior to each home basketball game and at halftime.

Passes and detailed information are mailed to members at the All-American, Olympian and Champion levels (with season basketball tickets) in the fall.
