2008 National Conference for College Women Student Leaders, June 5-7, 2008
For more than 20 years, this conference has offered students the perfect opportunity to hone their leadership skills and become empowered to implement change on campus and in their communities. During this fast-paced, energizing conference students will
- Hear exciting keynote speakers and meet inspiring Women of Distinction Award recipients.
Former awardees have included playwright, performer, and activist Eve Ensler; Olympic medalist
Dominique Dawes; and activist and author Rebecca Walker.
- Participate in workshops focusing on advocacy, leadership, health and wellness, and "real world" issues like financial literacy and post-college life.
- Enjoy endless opportunities to network, network, network.
- Take part in optional community service projects and preconference activities, including an informative morning training session entitled "Young Women at the Voting Booth: Election 2008"
and a tour of Washington, D.C.
