Responsibilities: Candidates should show evidence of research potential and a commitment to teaching, and will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.

Continuous Term Lecturer in Finance (001996-2008)

The Krannert Graduate School of Management invites applicants for one Continuous Term Lecturer appointment in finance beginning Fall 2008. The initial appointment is subject to renewal based on performance and need.
Responsibilities: Candidates are expected to teach finance predominantly at the undergraduate level and should have demonstrated excellence in teaching. Teaching load is 18 to 24 semester credit hours per academic year.
Qualifications: Ph.D. preferred but Master’s degree with professional certification (e.g., CPA) is acceptable.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach up to four courses per semester at the undergraduate or master’s degree level and should have demonstrated excellence in teaching Business Statistics and/or Management Science.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. in a discipline related to Quantitative Methods is preferred.

The Krannert School of Management at Purdue University invites applications and nominations for either a tenure-track or visiting faculty position in Organizations Behavior and Human Resources, with the appointment effective August 2008. The rank for the position is a the assistant professor level and we encourage new and experienced assistant professors to apply.
Responsibilities: We are open to any applicant who shows outstanding promise as a teacher, researcher, and colleague. We are particularly interested in candidates who have an outstanding record of innovative and highly regarded OB and/or HR research, and who are able to instruct in our graduate and undergraduate programs.
Qualifications: A PhD degree (or near completion of) is required.

The Department of Economics invite applications for one or more positions at the advanced assistant, untenured/tenured associate professor, or tenured full professor level, to begin with the Fall 2008 semester. Our primary field of interest is econometrics. Applied economists with a strong background in microeconomic theory and research interests in fields such as labor economics, public economics, and industrial organization are also encouraged to apply, as are macroeconomists qualified to teach econometrics. Applications from highly qualified candidates in all fields, including economic theory, will be considered.
Requirements: Carry out research, supervise Ph.D. dissertation research, and teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Qualifications: Ph.D. degree, evidence of research excellence, and a commitment to teaching.

The Krannert School of Management, Purdue University, is seeking an outstanding scholar to fill the Richard E. Dauch Chair in Manufacturing and Operations Management.
Requirements: It is expected that the Richard E. Dauch Chair will be an active participate in the Dauch Center for the Management of Manufacturing Enterprises and provide leadership in discovery, learning, and engagement related to manufacturing and operations management.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a Ph.D. and an established record of scholarly achievement, leadership, and teaching. It is expected that the candidate’s qualifications will merit the rank of tenured Full Professor or tenured Associate Professor.

Requirements: We seek individuals who can teach financial or managerial accounting to undergraduate and graduate students depending on the candidate’s experience. Opportunities to teach in the executive program may also be possible.
Qualifications: Candidates for an assistant professor position should have (or be near completion of) a doctorate and exhibit the capacity for research publishable in top-tier accounting journals and excellence in teaching. Candidates for an associate professor position should have earned a doctorate and an established record of excellence in research, teaching and service on doctoral dissertation committees. A tenured associate professor appointment is possible for a candidate with the appropriate credentials.
