What is the Zone?

The whole name for 'the Zone' is the Human Resource/Financial Computing Zone.  The staff in the Zone are responsible for maintaining the computing needs for the following areas:  Accounting Services, Accounts Payable, Budget and Fiscal Planning, Business Services Computing, Comptroller, Costing, Director of Business Administrators, Freehafer Operations, Human Resource Services, Internal Audit, Investments, Office of Treasury Operations, Payroll, Purchasing, Risk Management, Sponsored Program Services, Taxes, Travel and Vice President for Business Services.  The mission for the Zone is to proactively meet the business computing needs of the customers in the financial and human resource functional areas.
