Reminder: Employees should review, update personal information via Employee Self Service

As a reminder, Human Resources and Payroll encourage employees to utilize Employee Self Service (ESS) – a paperless, flexible and secure avenue for making changes – to verify and / or update their vital demographic information such as address, education information, bank information and tax exemption selections that are on file with the University.* Changes can be made via ESS at any time; however, the deadline for changes to be effective for 2016 pay and tax activities has passed.

*One exception is that international employees will continue to submit their tax documents via the Glacier software and printed documents sent to the Payroll and Tax Services department.

To locate Employee Self Service and the Personal Information tab and Taxes tab, follow the instructions outlined below.

To get started using ESS, go to OneCampus and click on the OnePurdue (SAP) Portal link. Then follow these steps:

  1. Click Employee Self-Service
  2. Click Personal Information
  3. Complete each section of the Personal Information screen.
    • Personal Data
    • Self-Identification Information
      • For questions regarding Self-Identification, please contact the Office of the Vice President for Ethics & Compliance at compliance@purdue.edu.
    • Address
      • Local address. This can be adjusted at any time if needed or leaving the University.
    • Bank Information
      • For additional assistance, please contact your departmental Business Office or submit a ticket to ITaP via itap@purdue.edu or 765-494-4000.
    • Education Data
    • Suppression of Personal Data

To review or adjust tax information, again access ESS via OneCampus and the OnePurdue (SAP) Portal link. Then follow these steps:

  1. Click Employee Self-Service
  2. Click Taxes
  3. Click W4/WH4 Tax Withholding
