Annual performance evaluations are a key component of a staff member’s development. The annual performance evaluation is intended to be a fair and balanced assessment of the staff member’s performance. The annual review provides managers and their staff a unique opportunity to:
- Discuss job performance (discuss expectations and accomplishments)
- Set goals for professional development
- Set new goals in alignment with the units’ mission and operational objectives
