Fundamentals of Leadership Online Assessment

As a supervisor, do I know my unit’s most pressing needs as defined by my boss, peers, direct reports, and stakeholders?

The Fundamentals of Leadership Online Assessment was created to help supervisors better understand the needs of the unit from a colleague perspective. (i.e. boss, peers, direct reports, and others). The Fundamentals of Leadership is not a 360 assessment and respondents are not asked to comment on the skill level of the supervisor. Instead, the respondents are asked to provide feedback on the needs of the unit (building talent, teamwork, diversity, fostering trust, process improvement, planning and executing change, meeting customer needs, decision making, strategic planning, and using financial data). The Fundamentals of Leadership assessment marries the needs of the unit with the leader’s self-assessed expertise and experience levels. The final assessment report will provide the leader with critical colleague feedback that will support unit planning and leadership development opportunities for the unit leader.  Immediately after completing the online assessment, the supervisor will receive a customized report summarizing his/her results along with improvement recommendations.
