  • Purpose: To introduce the supervisor's awareness of the needs of the unit. This is a highly interactive course designed to assess the unit needs from the perspective of the participant's supervisor, peers, and direct reports. During the workshop the supervisor begins shaping his/her managerial legacy as they align their supervisory skills to fit unit needs.

The Leader Coach

  • Purpose: To inspire Purdue's supervisors and staff to engage in a series of meaningful conversations resulting in actions that create shared success for the employee and University. Participants are introduced to coaching models and common coaching conversations.

Purdue Workforce Development Library

  • Purpose: To expand the personal libraries of Purdue faculty and staff by providing access to leading publications. This service provides access to over 8,000 publications in abstract format – a huge time saver. Faculty and staff can use the online search function or suggested reading list. Abstracts may be downloaded, copied, and shared within Purdue’s workforce to help promote individual and team development.
