A healthy employee is a more productive and content employee at home and in the workplace.  By working together at Purdue University, we can have a profound impact on the lives of our employees.  The tools we provide through WorkLife Programs will assist faculty, staff, and retirees who wish to improve or maintain their overall health. By providing the flexibility employees need, the University will, in turn, reap the economic and non-economic benefits of a healthier environment. Take a step to improve your health - you're worth it.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is here to help Purdue employees and their family members in times of trouble. Personal, emotional, and psychological problems affect us all. Treatment works: People recover from mental illnesses; stress can be reduced; work relationships can improve; depression and anxiety can go into remission; marriages and troubled families can get better; it is possible to recover from drug or alcohol abuse. Our health care plans have improved by making mental health benefits accessible and affordable. Using the EAP to identify a problem, make a plan of action, and access appropriate help does not mean you are "crazy.”  When you feel hurt, confused, angry, sad, depressed, anxious, or have trouble getting along with other people, call me at the EAP.
