Lovell Leadership Lecture in Human Resources

This annual Lecture Series recognizes the 59-year (and counting) service record of Dr C.W. "Bill" Lovell as a faculty/staff member at Purdue. Since 1994, Bill has served as a Facilitator in HR, specializing in the FranklinCovey seminars. In 2002,he was recognized by FranklinCovey as a Facilitator of the Year.

From 1948 to 1994, Bill was a member of the Civil Engineering faculty at Purdue, and is presently a Professor Emeritus. He is honored in Civil Engineering by the Lovell Distinguished Lecture, now in its sixth year.

Bill and his wife, Mary Ellen, follow the activities of six children and seven grandchildren. Other than family and teaching, Bill's passion is fly fishing in both fresh and saltwater.

Financial support for the Lecture Series is afforded by the Organization and Career Development Leadership Fund, an endowment established in HR in October 1997. Contributions to increase the endowment may be directed to the Purdue University Development Office.
