Who are WorkLife Programs Ambassadors?
Ambassadors are faculty and staff volunteers who have an interest in and are willing to help integrate health into the campus community. Each year a new group of WorkLife Programs Ambassadors are selected to represent more than 25 areas on campus.

What do WorkLife Programs Ambassadors do?
WorkLife Programs Ambassadors serve as the eyes and ears of WorkLife Programs in individual departments on campus. Their main responsibility is to help motivate colleagues to achieve healthier lifestyles. They do this by learning about the variety of campus resources, sharing suggestions and ideas in committee meetings, and actively advocating wellness and worklife activities among their co-workers.
How are WorkLife Programs Ambassadors involved?
The WorkLife Programs Ambassadors meet with a full committee four times per year. In addition to serving on the full committee, WorkLife Programs Ambassadors serve on a subcommittee, volunteer at presentations/events, and disseminate information to faculty and staff regarding health promotion activities.
What are the goals of the WorkLife Programs Ambassadors?
By actively promoting health across campus, WorkLife Programs Ambassadors can help Purdue faculty and staff increase their energy levels, reduce illness and injury, enjoy more productive workdays, and ultimately feel better about themselves.
