ACE  (Accomplished Clerical Excellence)©

ACE is a two-year program that offers clerical employees an opportunity to enhance their established skills, broaden their knowledge and perspectives, and develop a valuable peer network.

Open to clerical staff with a minimum of one year of continuous service to Purdue University as well as six months in the current position, the ACE program teaches interpersonal, organizational, supervisory, and working relationship skills. It also provides information about University resources, verbal and written communication, professionalism, personal development, and many other skills.

Council for Manager Development  (CMD)©

Council for Manager Development, started in 1956, is a two year professional development program tailored for administrative and professional staff members.

Professional Support with Pride (PSP)©

PSP begins with the Basic Principles, a core set of values and expectations which have become the foundation for the Business Services culture and the standard by which performance is measured.  This course is required for Business Services and ITaP staff.  This course is comprised of one three hour session and is offered once a month. Topics include the Basic Principles, Change Management, Team Building and the Equal Access/Equal Opportunity Briefing.

  • Nov. 4, 1 to 4 p.m.
  • Nov. 18, 1 to 4 p.m.
