When are new ACE classes launched? Look for announcements each spring about the formation of new ACE classes. Applications are available on-line and due at the end of June for classes that will begin the following fall.
How to apply:
The first step in considering ACE participation is to discuss the program with your supervisor. Review the curriculum, time commitment, and your career goals as well as the other activities underway in your work unit.
An ACE application will be posted on this website in June. Both you and your supervisor are asked to sign the application. Two letters of nomination are required to support your application: one from your supervisor and one from a colleague or another supervisor with knowledge of your work habits.
In selecting new members for the class, the factors considered are 1) application clarity, dedication to professional goals, 2) letters of support, 3) years of service at the university, and 4) composition of the class - efforts are made to select individuals from a variety of organizational units.
