Our job board is a popular single source of candidates, with hits from all over the globe and increased engagement from followers of the Purdue Careers social media sources (Facebook, Twitter and our blog).
- Employment actions and retirement: Consider the impact
All non-exempt (biweekly paid) employees hired on or after September 9, 2013 participate in the Non-Exempt Defined Contribution Retirement Plan. But what about employees who transfer positions? Or those who are rehired at the University?
- Lateral transfers = no pay increase
Per a memo sent by Al Diaz on April 30, 2013, employees transferring into a lateral position will not be eligible for a pay increase. A transfer to a position with comparable duties, level of responsibility and/or job scope is defined as a lateral transfer.
