Support employee participation in Healthy Purdue

Healthy Purdue, the Purdue health initiative, is back for 2007, and its success depends on employee participation. Encouragement from supervisors is key to achieving this goal.

  OnePurdue starts ‘mock month’ to test new systems

On November 15, the OnePurdue Finance Team began a month-long exercise called “mock month.” Scheduled to run until mid-December, this process will test the OnePurdue systems and key processes necessary to conduct a typical month of financial business at Purdue.

  Employee Relations case study: Encouraging teamwork in your area

Sami Smith has worked for Purdue as a secretary for two years. Her performance evaluations during that time have met expectations. The evaluation meetings over the past two years have mentioned that she struggles at times with teamwork. Each time Sami agrees to work on this area, but she also states that her co-workers are out to get her and that she works best alone.
