New certificate program offers opportunity to polish HR skills

Human Resources Training and Development is pleased to announce a new HR certificate program available to supervisors and other staff. The program is designed to offer professional development and an increased, consistent understanding of key human resources issues.

  WorkLife to offer new health incentives for employees

In January 2006, Human Resource Services will unveil a Purdue-wide health improvement initiative for benefit-eligible faculty, staff, and their spouses. Through WorkLife Programs, the initiative will include new financial incentives, health risk appraisals and wellness screenings, personalized health resources, and one-on-one telephonic coaching.

“Well, look there, Robin decided to come in today only five minutes late, instead of 10,” Beverly whispers to Anna as Robin rushes in at 8:05 a.m. “Maybe I should sleep in more often. Chris doesn’t seem to care if she’s late all the time. This has been going on for six months and he’s done nothing about it.” Anna, tired of hearing Beverly complain about her friend Robin, decides to bring the issue up to their supervisor, Chris.
