Bullying is something we all hope not to have to deal with much beyond grade school. Unfortunately, workplace bullies are a problem many people face. A recent survey by CareerBuilder found that 35 percent of workers say they have been bullied at work. More than half of those surveyed said that the bully was a co-worker.
Help your hourly employees take advantage of Healthy Living at Work pilot
Purdue is piloting a Healthy Living at Work program in its ongoing effort to encourage healthy behaviors and positive lifestyle changes among employees. Achieving these goals can help improve job performance, increase work satisfaction and reduce health care costs for the employee and the University.
New retirement plan introduced for non-exempt staff
Purdue’s non-exempt employees have been part of the Indiana Public Retirement System (INPRS) for many years, and Purdue’s association with Public Employees’ Retirement Fund (PERF) will continue for many more. But there is a new plan on the horizon for newly hired clerical, service, and operations/technical assistants.
