Income Protection During Disability

Purdue's disability programs provide employees with income replacement during times when they cannot work due to illness or injury.

All benefits-eligible employees are automatically covered by the long term disability program upon hire. Benefits-eligible clerical and service staff are also eligible to enroll in the optional short term disability plan (to begin after one year of employment).
