**Effective July 1, 2017, Trustmark is no longer accepting new enrollees. During benefits open enrollment for faculty and staff in the fall of 2017, the new universal life insurance plan will be shared and will go into effect January 1, 2018. Graduate staff will be able to enroll in this plan beginning in August, 2018.

 Universal life insurance with long-term care benefits through Trustmark expands family life insurance protection during working years and provides full living benefits during retirement. Other features include:

  • Coverage is available for your spouse, children and grandchildren, even if you choose not to enroll yourself.
  • Pays you a living benefit when the insured receives medically necessary long term care services.
  • Coverage is effective on the date of application.
  • Group rates continue if employment at Purdue ends.
