Why Use Castlight?
Prices for medical services vary a lot. It may surprise you, but prices for medical services can be different depending on where you go. Out-of-pocket costs for a standard office visit can range from $80 to $250. For other types of visits, lab tests, and x-rays, the range can be even larger. Frequently you can find exactly the same service for a lower price without any difference in the quality of care.
Better care doesn't have to be expensive care. Prices for medical services have almost nothing to do with a doctor's education, years of experience or skill. A high price could mean that the doctor belongs to a large group or hospital that was able to set a high price with the insurance carrier.
Castlight is your one-stop shop to manage your health care budget.
