Welcome to Honors at Purdue University!
Purdue has a great tradition of Honors Programs-and we have even more opportunities planned as our new Honors College grows. Honors at Purdue focuses on scholarship, leadership and engagement. Honors integrates residential and co-curricular learning opportunities with academic classroom experiences. Honors builds both community and life-long friendships; and Honors teaches skills that will help you change the world.
Faculty who teach honors courses at Purdue are among the very best in the nation. They are chosen for their long-time commitment to student learning and for their success in the classroom.
Honors coursework focuses on the 'grand challenges' of the 21st- century, including globalization, sustainability, technology and health. Our small, honors seminars are unique in approaching these urgent subjects from a broad interdisciplinary perspective. In addition to these interdisciplinary seminars, Purdue offers discipline-specific honors courses and research opportunities in your home department and college.
Honors staff and advisors, both in the Honors College and in your home department, are ready to assist you in making the most of the Purdue opportunity.
