Update 7/26/06:
My week in Denmark was an adventure across the sea. I spent four days attending an international conference on humor. I met delegates from Canada, Taiwan, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Russia, Japan, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Australia, and many other countries.
Presenting in front of such a large group caused me some anxiety! But I received interesting questions and positive feedback from the audience. In the evenings, I would roam the streets and canals of Copenhagen, taking in the flavor of the city. It was wonderful to mingle with the amiable people and enjoy what their city had to offer, whether walking on cobblestone streets, buying a famous hotdog from the vendors, or sitting along the canals of Nyhavn, and watching the sun sink under the horizon.
