Honors Convocation/Retreat Turkey Run State Park
August 21-22, 2008
The fourth annual Honors Convocation/Retreat for new Honors College freshmen was August 21-22, 2008 at Turkey Run State Park. It was a great opportunity for freshmen to meet others in the Honors College cohort as well as network with sophomore Honors College students. Participants learned more about the Honors College and unique academic opportunities at Purdue and received library research tips from Catherine Fraser Riehle, Instructional Outreach Librarian and Assistant Professor of Library Science.
Honors College upperclassmen organized an Information Fair for freshman to become aware of a variety of student activities on campus as well as receive general information about individual schools and colleges on campus. The College of Agriculture was represented by Honors College's own Dr. Chris!
