Catharine Patrone graduated summa cum laude with her BA in communication and minors in women's studies and human development and family science in 2001 from The Ohio State University. She completed her MA in higher education and student affairs in 2003 also from The Ohio State University. While in graduate school, she worked as a research consultant in the Student Support Office at Lancaster University in Lancaster, England during the summer of 2002. Prior to coming to Purdue University, Catharine served in the capacities of graduate associate and program coordinator at the University Honors & Scholars Center at The Ohio State University. Catharine's hometown was Poland, Ohio, a suburb of the Youngstown area.

As Director of Student Services, Catharine serves as the primary contact for the Lyceum, Honors College Learning Community and Honors College study abroad initiatives. She also spearheads the Honors College application processes for prospective and current students. Catharine enjoys working with the bright and talented students in the Honors College who will be tomorrow's leaders.
