Student Affiliation Training
Certain areas at Purdue contract with external physician’s offices or hospitals to provide clinical training experiences for Purdue students who are earning degrees in the health sciences. These external providers may request that students receive HIPAA training prior to reporting to the entity. In the case where students are not covered by HIPAA as part of a Purdue covered component, the following training has been developed for particular areas at Purdue and general training may be useful for some areas.
