Neurophonetics Laboratory (G9)
The Neurophonetics Laboratory is located on the ground floor of Heavilon Hall. Software is available for speech acquisition, analysis, and synthesis (Matlab, Sound Forge, Praat). Two workstations are connected to the campus computing network. Current research is aimed at crosslanguage, electrophysiological studies of pitch processing at the level of the cortex and auditory brainstem.
