Director of Clinical Education in Speech Language Pathology
Professor Mornout is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist. She is responsible for leading the clinical Master of Science program in Speech-Language Pathology. She coordinates academic learning with clinical experiences to insure the continued excellence of our SLP clinical program as well as mentoring and supervising the SLP clinical faculty. Teaching in the master’s level SLP program is also included in her duties. Professor Mornout’s clinical experience includes working in many venues: clinics, hospitals, public schools to private practice. She has a particular interest in adult swallowing disorders.
Professor Mornout is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Indiana Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the California Speech & Hearing Association. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Professor Mornout maintains licensure as a speech-language pathologist in the state of Indiana and the state of California.
