Professor Mornout is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist who is responsible for leading the clinical Master of Science program in Speech-Language Pathology. She coordinates academic learning with clinical experiences to insure the continued excellence of our SLP clinical program as well as mentoring and supervising the SLP clinical faculty.  Teaching in the master’s level SLP program is also included in her duties.  Professor Mornout’s clinical experience includes working in many venues from clinics, hospitals, public schools to private practice.  She has particular interest in adult swallowing disorders.

Professor Mornout is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).  She, also, is a member of the California Speech & Hearing Association (CASHA).

She is certified to administer the Lee Silverman Voice Therapy Treatment and is a certified provider for the SpeechEasy™ Fluency Device.
