How do I access my Psych Home Directory from my personal computer?

Note: If you have a computer on the OnePurdue domain, you should already see the shared drive on Ironman.psych.purdue.edu in "My Computer".

Important: In order to connect to your home directory from off campus that is NOT connected via ResNet, you must first connect to the VPN service.

From a PC running Windows:

1. Right click the Start menu.
2. Click Explore.
3. On the Tools menu, click Map Network Drive.
4. In Drive, select a drive letter.
5. In Folder, type  \\ironman.psych.purdue.edu\yourloginid where "yourloginid" is your Purdue career Account login id.
6. Select Connect using different user name
7. When prompted, enter your Psych Account login and password
8. Click OK, then Finish.

From a MAC:

From Mac OS X 10.1 or higher

1. In the Finder, click on the Go menu
2. Select "Connect to Server"
3. In the "Server Address:" field enter smb://ironman.psych.purdue.edu/{yourloginid}
4. Click the "+" button on the right side of the field to add this address to your favorites.
5. Leave the "WorkGroup or Domain" field at the default setting
6.  Enter your Purdue career account login for "Name" and your Purdue account password for "Password"
