Marwa Noureldin, PharmD, MS, PhD
Dr. Noureldin recently graduated with a dual-title PhD degree in Pharmacy Practice and Gerontology from Purdue University College of Pharmacy and is excited to join the School of Nursing as a postdoctoral research associate. Dr. Noureldin’s research interests revolve around the healthcare experiences of older adults and their caregivers, specifically medication management experiences, in the home setting and during transitions of care. In addition, she is interested in patient education and safety among older adults and the impact on their quality of life and health outcomes. Dr. Noureldin is also interested in health professional education and the scholarship of teaching and learning. She has authored and co-authored multiple publications and presented at various national pharmacy conferences as well as Purdue University symposia.
Dr. Noureldin’s goals for the postdoc are to diversify her research experience and become a more independent researcher, improve her research methodology and communication skills by collaborating on various projects, and participate in activities to enhance her professional development.
Dr. Noureldin completed her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Master's (MS) degrees at Purdue University and has worked as a part-time pharmacist in both the retail and veterinary pharmacy settings. Upon completion of the postdoctoral training, she hopes to pursue an academic or government career.
