Informing Healthful Practice and Policy

The Public Health Graduate Program at Purdue University is dedicated to training science-based public health professionals who are proficient in both basic and applied sciences. Such training allows for the translation of discovery to application for optimizing health.

Our MPH degree program includes three tracks from which students may choose. In our accelerated masters (BS+MPH) and dual degree (MS or PhD + MPH) tracks, students are admitted to an academic unit to develop their scientific expertise. These tracks are complemented with training in public health practice and policy. Our third track is a stand-alone generalist MPH where students are admitted to the College of Health and Human Sciences. In all cases, students choose a concentration from Family and Community Health Sciences, Environmental Health Sciences or Health Statistics. Graduates are prepared to function and take leadership positions in the multifaceted public health arena.
