Tell us about yourself:

I am currently working at the Indiana Department of Transportation as a soil erosion specialist. In my spare time, I volunteer at events hosted by the Wabash River Enhancement Corporation here in Lafayette. I recently volunteered at the Wabash Sampling Blitz.

Your vision:

My future goal is to become an environmental engineer. I would like to work in public health and be involved in fields such as air pollution control, waste disposal, and water treatment. I hope to specialize in hydrology to study the occurrence, movement, and distribution of water within the earth and the relationship with the surrounding environment.

Why Purdue:

The small size of the program allows you to really get to know your professors and classmates. In addition, there are always events and activities to be involved in through the program and student group. Finally, the program has provided me the flexibiity I need to be able to work while attending graduate school.
