Body Composition Testing
Complimentary "before and after" body composition testing is available to those registered for the 2011 Indianapolis Mini Marathon and are listed as an HHS Mini Marathon Initiative participant. (Check with Denise Buhrmester at dmbuhrmester@purdue.edu if you are not sure your name is on this list.)
To schedule your appointment, read the information below, then contact Jan Green (contact information follows).
Body comp testing is done in Stone Hall Room, G-92. (Enter on the NW side of the building, go down one flight of stairs then through the double doors.)
Body comp testing will take approximately 30 minutes.
You will need to fast at least four hours prior to your scheduled testing appointment. Do not consume caffeine during your fasting period.
You should wear comfortable walking/athletic shoes for the treadmill portion of the test.
Each test will last 5-15 minutes. Each test will be explained to you in detail; someone will be with you at all times during the testing.
You will be asked to answer a few questions regarding health assessments before testing can begin.
