Byron Fellow, Abby Boggs, finds solutions and inspiration through collaboration

Byron Fellow, Abby BoggsAbby Boggs, a Phd student in HTM, was one of a select group of 2013 Byron Fellows. The Byron Fellowship is an interdisciplinary place-based learning course in leadership and sustainable community development is conducted annually. This year, Byron Fellows from all over the world met at Turkey Run in Indiana.

“The intensive five day Byron Fellowship program allowed me to share my research interests with a diverse group, challenging me to incorporate more interdisciplinary research thinking,” said Abby. “Ultimately it helped me uncover ways to couple my current tourism research with other theories and approaches.
