Master of Science in Pedagogy and Administration
Program Overview
The Master's degree program in Pedagogy and Administration is designed to provide knowledge related to effective instructional and/or administrative practice in professional and other situational contexts. The program is designed as either a terminal degree or a foundation for Ph.D. study. For a printable version of this page - click here.

Recreation and Sport Management Option
The Recreation and Sport Management option is offered as a thesis-based program designed to prepare the M.S. student for:
- a managerial-level position in a recreation, sports, or leisure-services organization
- a research-related position in a recreation, sports, or leisure-services organization
- continued study at the Ph.D. level in a recreation/leisure-studies or sports-management program

- Graduate statistics course (3 credit hours)
- Marketing course (3 credit hours)
- Legal issues course (3 credit hours)
- Advisor-approved electives (9 credit hours)
- Master's thesis (6 credit hours)
