Research Interests:
Dr. Troped’s current research interests include environmental and policy determinants of physical activity, design and evaluation of physical activity interventions, and measurement of physical activity with accelerometers and portable global positioning system (GPS) units. He currently is the Principal Investigator on an NIH-funded study investigating the influence of the built environment on physical activity and obesity among older women living in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and California.
