PALS Participants Receive:

  • daily USDA-approved meals
  • t-shirt
  • transportation to campus where possible
  • a medical examination
  • accident-medical insurance coverage
  • interaction with college students and staff
  • swimming, physical fitness, and a variety of other sports which may include soccer, basketball, softball, tennis, or volleyball
  • alcohol- and other drug-abuse prevention education
  • nutrition, personal health, and citizenship skills
  • fun experience in art, computers, writing, and community service learning
