Julia Williams

  • I graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in Child and Family Services in May 2012.

I am the Associate Teacher in the Red Room. Before coming to Ben and Maxine Miller Child Development Laboratory School, I have worked with infants and toddlers at a Lutheran Child Care as well as with at-risk families for Bauer Family Resources. I am so passionate about working with young children because I feel that all children should have an equal opportunity to succeed no matter the circumstances. I love working with this age group because I enjoy seeing the progress in development over a short span of time. Every day in this profession is never the same, which keeps things exciting.

In my free time, I love to read books, play/watch sports, and hang with my friends and family.
