  • B.S., Early Childhood Education and Exceptional Needs, Purdue University

I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education and Exceptional Needs. Since January 2012, I have done field experiences at the laboratory school, including my student teaching semester in the Blue Room.

I thoroughly enjoy working with young children. Their smiles and hugs always make every day worthwhile. I believe children learn best when they are able to freely explore objects and construct meaning independently as well as with peers. I believe my role as a teacher is to facilitate, support, and guide children’s learning. I love watching as children learn and accomplish new things.

When I am not working with children, I enjoy spending time with my husband! We enjoy cooking together and spending as much time with our family as we can.
