I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Intervention with a Kindergarten Endorsement in December 2002.

I am the Head Teacher in the Red Room. I have had various roles while working at the Ben and Maxine Miller Child Development Laboratory School since November 2002. I love working with children! I love to watch them grow and interact with their world. I feel that all children and families are unique and have the ability to teach others. In the Red Room, we provide a safe, fun, interactive, and educational environment so each child can develop to his or her full potential.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful daughters and husband, family, and friends. I love playing softball and enjoy coaching my daughter’s softball team.

I graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in Child and Family Services in May 2012.

I am the Associate Teacher in the Red Room. Before coming to Ben and Maxine Miller Child Development Laboratory School, I have worked with infants and toddlers at a Lutheran Child Care as well as with at-risk families for Bauer Family Resources. I am so passionate about working with young children because I feel that all children should have an equal opportunity to succeed no matter the circumstances. I love working with this age group because I enjoy seeing the progress in development over a short span of time. Every day in this profession is never the same, which keeps things exciting.

In my free time, I love to read books, play/watch sports, and hang with my friends and family.

I graduated from Ivy Tech Community College with an Associate’s in Business Administration and have taken some courses in Early Childhood Education.

I am the Child Care Aide in the Red Room. Before coming to the Ben and Maxine Miller Child Development Laboratory School, I worked at Bethany Childcare and Preschool in the Midroom as the Lead Teacher of that room. I am so passionate about working with children and watching them grow into extraordinary people. Knowing that we as the teachers have made a great impact on their lives is one of the greatest feelings a teacher can have.

In my free time, I love to be outside, playing sports, watching movies, and hanging out with my family and friends.
