Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations
Eric is an Indiana University/Purdue University graduate with a B.A. in Social and Behavioral Science. Before joining Purdue's University Development Office, he served for 20 years as an account executive and sales manager with Burkhart Advertising, Inc., in Lafayette. Prior to this he was general manager for Signature Inns in Kokomo and Indianapolis. Eric brings his corporate experience and knowledge to his position as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for the College of Health and Human Sciences.
Eric's civic involvement is varied. He is a proud member of Rotary International and has served on the board of directors for the Lafayette Daybreak Club, an organization for which he also served as club president. Eric also has served on committees for AdFed of North Central Indiana, the YMCA of Kokomo, and the United Way of Greater Lafayette. Currently, he serves on the board of directors for the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra. Eric is a graduate of two leadership academies in Lafayette and Kokomo.
Eric and his wife Lisa (NUTR'89) live in the Lafayette area. Their son Evan is a student at Purdue University and their daughter Erin will soon follow in his footsteps. Eric is passionate about Purdue athletics, the Cincinnati Reds and the Minnesota Vikings & although his kids' sports activities are always his number one priority.
