Student / Employer Reception

Although there are many ways to network via technology, face-to-face interactions are crucial to personal and professional growth. To help students develop essential communication skills, The Department of Consumer Science hosts a networking reception with select industry partners.  Students begin the evening with a short course in “Networking 101” followed by a reception where they immediately can apply what they learned. We wish to thank Shell Oil Company for its support of this professional development event.
