CSR Extravaganza and Etiquette Dinner

Do you need that something "extra" in your preparations for career fairs? Attend the Extravaganza to help you prepare for your upcoming job search! Drop-ins are welcome!

    3:00 - 3:50pm: Speed Interviewing Session 1 (STEW 320)
    4:00 - 4:50pm: Speed Interviewing Session 2 (STEW 320)

This is an informal event which offers various resources to assist you in your professional development. All majors are welcome. The Extravaganza includes:

Industry Panel: We will begin the Extravaganza with an informal Q and A with industry professionals representing various companies.

30 Second Sell: Are you unsure as to what to say to recruiters? Come learn and practice with industry professionals.

CCO Services: The Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) is one of many valuable resources available to you on campus and on the web at www.cco.purdue.edu. Come and learn more about the services and resources they offer. Register for myCCO (formally CCO Express), which enables you to apply for on campus interviews and gain access to the 2,000+ off campus job postings.

Company Research, Purdue Libraries: Have you ever heard of career wiki? Are you aware of the multiple databases that are available to you at no cost? Here is your opportunity to learn about the valuable online resources which can assist you in your academic research as well as career interests.

LinkedIn Photo Booth (NEW THIS YEAR): Do you need to professionalize your LinkedIn profile picture? A FREE photo booth with a professional photographer will be available to take your picture. This will be a "head" shot.

Speed Interview: Pre-registration is required for speed interviewing. Contact Molly Gilbert at mollyg@purdue.edu to register. Please provide your name, major, and time choice (3:00 or 4:00) in your email.


Etiquette Dinner: CSR together with the support of Kohl's Department Stores will be hosting an Etiquette Dinner. The evening will begin with a presentation by Anthony Cawdron, Westwood Event Coordinator/Instructor in HTM on "Business Etiquette". Following Mr. Cawdron's presentation you will enjoy a dinner prepared by HTM staff and students.
